Jon Bailey started as a convention goer then transitioned to convention staff to panel moderator to convention security to guest liaison to convention guest to convention panelist to convention MC, host and judge. There isn’t a position in a pop culture convention he hasn’t had experience yet. With a career spanning over 18 years, dozens of anime, game, toy, show and film credits, established voiceover coach, and now cartoon creator & casting director, Jon Bailey is a remarkable guest to have as your next convention panelist as a guest, moderator, performer or judge and includes promotion content on his social media.
STANDUP COMEDY
FIrst performing at Flapper’s in Los Angeles for a packed show with standing room only in 2018, Jon’s unique style of comedic storytelling, improvisation and vocal talent received both unanimous laughter and applause. Jon has performed alongside legendary comics such as Erica Rhodes and Reno 911’s Carlos Alazraqui. Although not pursuing a career in comedy, Jon’s performed many times at comedy clubs and conventions and is available for booking.
PUBLIC SPEAKER
Jon Bailey has had decades of experience speaking in public at churches, schools, conventions, award shows and much more. Not only does he have many inspirational stories and advice about the entertainment industry with a decade and a half of professional experience, but he has also overcome years of difficulty being on the Autism Spectrum and father of a mentally disabled child. A strong advocate for Autism Awareness and man of faith with a unique perspective and humorous, charmingly blunt and honest candidness. Lastly, while not a professional on the subject, in 2006, Jon weighed 335 lbs at only 27 years of age and by 2007, he had lost 146 lbs. His health journey has been up and down but in 2024, Jon now weighs under 200 lbs. His story has inspired many to be healthier and he will gladly share his progress from what got him unhealthy to how he got healthy at your next public event.
